Description
Size Matters in Arthroscopic Resection
Introducing Nano single-use, sterile-packed arthroscopy instrumentation.
Harnessing 20 years of excellence in designing arthroscopic hand instrumentation, Arthrex has engineered the next generation of instruments for diagnostic, resection, and extraction procedures.
The NanoProbe is an articulating, retractable hook probe used for diagnostic procedures. The shaft of the probe is 2 mm in diameter with a working length of 122 mm. The NanoProbe can be used with a NanoScope working cannula or it can be inserted percutaneously. The NanoProbe will not fit down the NanoScope scope sheath.
- Atraumatic, blunt tip to avoid iatrogenic damage and facilitate percutaneous use. The Nitinol extends through a small window in the shaft
- Laser Marking Graduated laser markings in 5mm increments up to 35mm in total length. These graduations mirror the standard reusable probes.
- The overall length of the probe is 5.5mm to be more in-line with a standard reusable probe.
- Injection molded button greatly reduced the weight of the device to improve the ergonomics and handling.
The convenient, single-use design provided sterile for a precise, clean instrument for every patient.
